Hi Paula, Ben, & Cora, Nice to here that everything went okay today but I sure feel bad for Cora when she gets her shots. As she gets older it won't be as bad and when she is 21 yrs old, it will be a different kind of shot and then she won't mind. It was fun this weekend helping Ben out with the doors because at least he will learn from experience then by a book. The book will show you how to do it but doesn't say what to do if you have problems and on the job training is the best. I know that Cora will enjoy her wagon and there will be better days where you will be able to go out. After awhile she will want to go all the time. Shadow is laying by my feet as I am typing this. What a spoiled dog but I wouldn't have it any other way. Take care and we will talk to you later. Grandpa Karasch

Hi Ben, Paula, and Cora-- Love the new website!! It looks so professional---and it is so easy to navigate! I especially like the new links you have added with your story and info about Spina Bifida. Of course I would have been very impressed with Cora's kidney ultrasound because I am very impressed with Cora anyway--you both have done such and awesome job. Let's Skype again soon! Love you and miss you! Auntie T

You three have fun this coming weekend. Hopefully you will have nice weather down there instead of now. This morning Atlanta was freezing. Paula, don't scream too loud when the plane takes off and when you are flying, look to the left side of the plane because I will leave the outside light on so you can see our house. HA HA Take care and we will see you when you get back. Me

Claudia and I were looking through the pictures and I kept saying "Cora" so Claudia would know we were looking at Cora and not just another baby. So this is how Claudia says Cora's name: "Booya".

Hi Guys! Thinking of you today and glad I remembered PaulaBen.com...I tried Paulaandben.com and found some wonderful wedding pictures of strangers. :) Glad to see Cora is doing so well--the boys had that same flu last week, not fun! She is in such wonderful hands with you as her parents. Maxie is sitting right here next to me as I'm typing. I think she misses you too. Last week the boys said, "when can Paula be our nanny again." You sure left a lasting impression on them and we love you for that. Happy Mothers Day, sweet Paula...give Cora a kiss and Ben a handshake. :) XOXO, Natalie

Posted by Natalie on 8th of May 2009

Hey! I love the twins outfit and think the picture of Cora absolutely SCOWLING at the physical therapist is PRICELESS! She looks so different now-we don't see you nearly enough, guys. Let's get together soon. Claudia is now screaming "Baby!" everytime she sees a baby (instead of "Dada!"). Sarah

Posted by Sarah Rawitzer on 7th of May 2009

We are glad to hear her appointments went well and that she loves to talk! I can't wait to hear how her first Twins game goes tomorrow. She'll love it I'm sure! Again we miss our sweet little niece and can't wait to see all of you hopefully really soon. Aunt Christina and Uncle Craig are impatiently waiting for the arrival of Annabelle. Give Cora lots of hugs and kisses from us! We are always thinking of our little niece and how fast she is growing. Love ya!

Posted by Aunt Christina & Uncle Craig on 27th of April 2009

Ben, What are you trying to tell the world with your cowboy shirt-that you are a tank? as strong as one? You really shouldn't try to deceive baby Cora like that because in the future, she just won't believe anything you say. Thanks for sharing the pics--i wish there were more to look at. (j/k cuz there are a lot, but that's the way it should be) Cora looks happy, Ben looks proud, and Paula looks absolutely in love with her daughter and motherhood! We'll miss seeing you on Easter and Jack's birthday. Hopefully you can come to the party on the 26th!! Emily

Posted by Emily on 11th of April 2009

Hi guys, As usual great pictures. May I suggest that you take the first one of her where she is laying on her tummy, looks like she might be over a boppy pillow, and blow it up-at least an 8x10? It looks professional and it just captures the innocence and essence of Cora. I would like a copy! Love, Sarah

Happy 4th Month sweet Cora!! We can't believe you are already 4 mos. old. We had such a wonderful time with you guys last weekend. We miss our niece very much and think of her all the time. She has grown so much and developed such a wonderful personality. We can't wait to see her again on Sunday in her beautiful Easter dress. Her tooting episode in church was hilarious! It still makes us laugh at how loud it was! We want to Thank you both for letting us come stay and visit. We had a great time and we'll have to do that again after Annabelle is born. Well, have a good rest of the week and we'll see you all on Sunday! Love you! Kisses and hugs for Cora!

Hi Paula, Ben and Cora! I love the pictures, and Ben has even got help with the flashlight, how cute. I got to see the pictures at school but ran out of time to send a message. Can't wait to see you all on Easter. Love and prayers always! Grandma K!

Posted by grandma Karasch on 5th of April 2009

Hi you two, I, too, love the ones of Cora holding the flashlight for Ben. You guys are so funny. But my favorites are the ones of Cora sleeping. A sleeping baby truly looks to me like an Angel and Cora fits that title to a "T" (what does "to a 'T'" mean anyway?). Thanks for bringing her into everyone's lives.

Posted by Sarah, just me! on 31st of March 2009

Just looked at the new pictures of Cora and are they ever cute but they would be knowing her grandparents, HA. Linda had a real nice time with you guys and I thank you for letting her stay there. I knew she wasn't going to be home early but thats ok. It keeps her out of my hair. And the way Cora can talk is amazing. Pretty soon she will tell you what to do. Won't that be fun. Doesn't seem possible that she will be 4 months soon. Where did the time go. Also heard that the dishwasher works and that's a plus. It always feels good when you can do something and it works without any problems. Well you two take care and we will talk to you soon. Love Poppa Karasch

Thanks for the update! Good to hear her appointments went great. I can't believe how fast she is growing! The new pictures are so adorable! She is a great helper holding the flashlight for daddy. Nice to hear she is doing real well and I hope everything works out the best in the future. She is a little fighter. I was thinking that she has gone through more things in her first three months of life than I have gone through my first 12 years. Before you know it she will be burning the carpet crawling across it so fast. You will have to tie Lilly to her to slow her down. We can only hope for the best, right? Well nothing new here, thinking about getting ready for bed because we have 7:00 church tomorrow morning. Doesn't seem like it is going to be the start of Easter season already. Where does the time go. Love you guys and hopefully we will see you Saturday. Love Poppa Karasch and Granny

Hi Paula & Ben, Isn't the spirit and resiliance of little babies amazing? They sure can keep us lifted up and inspired when we might not otherwise be feeling it. That Cora is a superstar and so cute. Grateful to hear about today's success and always keeping you all in close in thoughts. Oh, and Ben just said you'll be getting something from us as soon as we get from Mildy our tax lady (probably in the next day or so). Perhaps you'd want a visitor and I could drop off personally.... Thinking of you!

I think Cora needs to have her toenails painted!! It will be a little treat for having those bulky casts-it will kind of be like "the light at the end of the tunnel" (painted toes at the end of the casts). You can probably find a "safe" nail color at a health store-I'll look. E

Hi guys, been thinking a lot about you and Cora. i am so glad I didn't come over on Sunday with or without my sick girls! But i am also so sad that I haven't even seen Cora in person yet. I laughed out loud when I saw the pic of her smiling-she is the spitting image of Ben in that picture! Love you guys and hope to see you very soon (boogers are still flowing out of noses in my house).

Congratulations Paula and little Brother! I wonder what Cora is trying to tell us when she first grabs the tubing, then pulls off one of her monitors. Ever think about short hair Paula? I loved telling people I have a new niece and Jack is excited to have another girl cousin! See you later this week!

Ben and Paula, I continue to think and pray for you often. Paula, are you wearing any shoes in your last picture? I can't see them,he he. You look marvelous. Ben, be sure to e-mail Jane and I when she is born on the 20th (my guess). We are so happy everything is going so well. That little girl will be so lucky with wonderful parents and family you both have. My little granddaughter is absolutely the best and is growing up way to fast. She is now 7-months and says grandma already (no, just kidding, but I'm working on it). Good luck to both of you. We can't wait. Prayers and good wishes! Mary Jo

Hey, what do I get when I win the delivery date prediction?? It sounds like you guys have a lot going on towards the end of your pregnancy! I'd love to see you again before Baby Betsy is born. It's too weird for me to touch your belly and tell you it looks AFTER the baby is born... You are always in our thoughts and prayers!! Lots of love!

Posted by Betsy on 26th of November 2008

Even though Paula is huge, my niece still looks a little squished in your belly! I hope she gets here soon. What is your preference for visiting-at the hospital, at home, day after surgery, a week after getting home??? Let us know, because if we can come to the hospital, I need directions.

Posted by emily on 24th of November 2008

Okay - so now that you're not telling the date, I still have a chance to win!! We're thinking about you and wishing you all the best. Sounds like you have a lot of good doctors on your side. We are anxiously awaiting to hear your news

Hi Ben & Paula~ Oh my, little miss Gryskiewicz is so sweet! The ultra sound pictures are fabulous. Paula you look great too :) I am sorry to admit that I had not kept up with your web site & updates. I have just gone back to read all the blogs. I am sorry that your sweet baby is going to have to have this fight ahead of her. I will continue to pray for you all. God will protect her. He gave her the best parents ~ this was just the first step of God's love for your baby. He will continue to support her throughout her long healthy life. hugs, Margaret

Hi guys, Ben-she looks like you and I am not just saying that because she has the typical newborn, semi-alien look. I really think she is going to look like you! Of course, Paula's side of the family will say she looks like Paula. Ha ha! Start practicing your responses "Yea, she does look like Paula." "She looks a little bit like of both of us."

I just wanted to drop a message to say "Hi" and tell you that I can't believe it is the end of October already. I'm counting down the days until I get to see my little niece, that precious little angel. Also, I forgot to get that autograph from Ben a couple of weeks ago. Ben, I really want your autograph, if you go big, I want to be the first to say that I know you and what a great actor you are! Anyways, have a great week! Happy Halloween! Love you all!

Hi Paula and Ben and baby! Maryjo gave me the update and I am so happy to hear about your success with Dr. Chang. I apologize for the first unsuccessful experience in your specialized OB care. I will now certainly add Dr. Chang to my list of resources! We have been thinking of you guys like crazy and so am glad to hear all is going well. Prayers, smiles and hugs...Jane NP

Paula and Ben, I don't know if my previous message was received on your blog. I just wanted to tell you that we have been thinking of you and praying for you since we heard of your pregnancy. I haven't kept up with your blog page, but will try to now that I finally got into it and read all the messages. I know you are going to have a beautiful baby who is very lucky to have the two of you for parents. God does work in mysterious ways. I would also tell Ben not to worry about not being able to shop the day after Thanksgiving. Taking care of yourself and the baby is gift enough to all your relatives and friends. Having a new baby is the best Christmas present of all. May God continue to bless you and keep good care of you and your baby.

Paula, Junior Junior is taking over your belly!!! Why are you wearing long sleeves? Is it already that cold??

Posted by Auntie Tina on 1st of October 2008

Yup, she's definitely pregnant! Holy cow...you are so close to the end!!!

Hi guys, so glad you are feeling more confident about the surgeries that the lovely ladies of the family will be going through (ben you will be outnumbered by 3-including Lily of course). It is really wonderful to hear that you have such a great boss, Ben. That makes me happy. 10-14 days in the hospital is a lot less than I would've guessed. It will be hard but I think the hospital staff will treat you very well!
